A player chooses a character to guide through the adventure.

Each character is represented by a card containing a code, which allows the application to identify the character as well as track it's progression during the game.

Cards

Card Types

The game comes with several cards, sorted into types

Card Type
Description
Character
Each playable character is represented by a card containing a code, which is used to identify the character for the application.
Items
Weapons and magical items can be equipped on characters
Resources
Resources such as food and wealth can be used in locations where actions such as camping or shopping are appropriate.
Action
Consumable items and special skills are represented by action cards
Treasure Chest
These can be found during certain events. They may contain items, resources, traps, skill books.

App guides players through setting up the game

Each player picks a character for themselves

The characters form a Party of Adventurers.

Each character has specific abilities, which are tested during challenging events.

In many events, the players have the option to combine the strength of their characters, or choosing which character participates in which task

Game progresses in 15 steps, mimicking classical storytelling structures.

In each step, the players co-operatively face a challenge, which is presented through the application, as well as getting a (chapter/bit/scene) of the story.

During each step, the player can manage their character - spend consumable items, and such. Each step contains an event. The event typically contains a cutscene, and a choice, challenge or a mini-game of some sort.

Choices are typically multiple-choice, with results influenced by the capabilities of the party.
